The Cheshire Blue Pullet is produced exclusively by Creag Mhor Poultry. We began breeding the Cheshire Blue in 2011 due to feedback from customers who were not satisfied with the egg colour of other available blue egg-layers. The Cheshire Blue has been found to lay a consistent sky-blue egg and is expected to lay in the region of 280 medium-large eggs per year. The bird is predominantly white with a crest and rarely goes broody.
Up to this point in time the Cheshire Blue has only been produced in relatively small numbers, but due to its popularity, from February/March 2014 we will be producing them in larger quantities.
They can be purchased as hatching eggs, day old chicks, as all sexed females and Marek vaccinated and will also be available as growing pullets. Day old chicks must be ordered at least a month in advance with a minimum order of 20. Prices on request by telephone.
Large service area covered including Derby, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Walsall.
